Picosecond excitation laser from Onefive delivers 532 and 635 nm wavelengths

Jan. 30, 2015
The Katana-05/06 HP picosecond pulsed excitation laser combined with the Katana-08 HP 775 nm depletion laser have use as STED lasers for microscopy.

The Katana-05/06 HP picosecond pulsed excitation laser delivers 532 and 635 nm wavelengths; when combined with the Katana-08 HP 775 nm depletion laser, they have use as stimulated emission depletion (STED) lasers for super-resolution microscopy. The combination setup delivers a tunable pulse repetition rate from pulse on demand up to 120 MHz, while pulse duration can range from sub-20 ps up to 1 ns, yielding efficient results for several dyes.
