Customized fused silica aspheres are available for direct-diode and fiber or disk laser applications at powers greater than 1 kW. They are diffraction-limited and achieve smaller spot sizes than typical spherical lenses. They are available with diameters of 15 to 200 mm, in high-power grade for direct diodes and standard grade for mid-power fiber applications.
