The model 5706 OEM laser-diode power module is designed for high-current CW or quasi-CW laser diodes and arrays for direct-coupled and diode-pumped solid-state applications. It has maximum output of 500 W and can be configured for output currents up to 100 A CW with a 5-V load voltage or up to 50 A CW with a 10-V load voltage.

Galvanometer
The QuantumScan-30 moving-magnet galvanometer is designed to carry 20- to 40-mm-aperture mirrors. It has a step response of 650 µs with a matched 6-gram centimeter-squared load. Its signal-to-noise ratio is 1:150,000. The architecture is designed to improve thermal management and thus reduce drift.

Film deposition system
The Spector thin-film deposition system for DWDM filters includes transmission-based quarter-wave monitoring for 100- and 200-GHz filters. A new optical monitor features an auto-aligning tunable-laser detector and is integrated into the control software for automated filter production. Endpoint detection causes deposition to cease within 7 ms.

RTP crystals
RbTiOPO4 (RTP) crystals are available for electro-optical applications at high repetition rates. Q-switches with RTP have been tested at 50 kHz with no sign of piezoelectric ringing. The crystal has high electrical resistivity and high damage threshold, allowing its use in Q-switch operation with temperature-compensating design.

Diode parameter analyzer
The LPA-9080 laser-diode parameter analyzer characterizes a laser diode's light output, current input, and forward voltage, and monitors diode current at each step of the L/I curve. It can collect up to 5000 data points in a few seconds. The accompanying SPA-9000 parameter-analysis software is Windows-based and has a variety of built-in experimental conditions, allowing users to define up to 10 sequential L/I runs at different temperatures. Sophisticated mathematical treatment, such as kink analysis, of the results is possible.

Tilting mirror mounts
The PSH 10/2 tilting system consists of four piezoelectric actuators, two stacks for each axis controlled in conjunction with each other. The actuators provide tilt of ±5 mrad to the top plate on two orthogonal axes. The device is temperature compensated to maintain the tilting angle during ambient temperature changes. Operating voltage is -10 to +150 V, capacitance is 3.2 mF, and resonant frequency with 6g-mirror load is 3.5 kHz.
