Visible laser/amplifier

Aug. 1, 1995
The SDL-7350 monolithic optical power amplifier emits u¥to 500 mW of 670- to 690-nm light in a single spatial mode, nearly diffraction-limited beam. The amplifier is fabricated with a distributed-Bragg-reflector oscillator and flared amplifier on a chip. It uses InGaAl¥materials to provide visible output.
