Photonics West shows electronic imaging in a good light

Photonics West (Feb. 5-11, San Jose, CA) included a conference on electronic imaging, with an engineering exhibition devoted exclusively to the technology. Electronic Imaging: Science & Technology included 96 exhibitors. The event`s innovative Technology Town Square featured demonstrations of the Digital Micromirror Displays from Texas Instruments (Dallas, TX), an atomic force microscope from Digital Instruments (Santa Barbara, CA), and liquid-crystal light-valve projection display demonstrations by Shar¥Digital Information Products (Irvine, CA), Electrochrome (Westlake Village, CA), and NEC Technology (Woodale, IL).
