Graded-index mirrors

May 1, 1995
Graded-index mirrors have a Gaussian reflectivity profile. The mirrors are used as output couplers in unstable solid-state laser resonators. High-power capacity is about 2 GW/cm2 at 1064 nm for a nanosecond pulse. Mirror profile and size can be customized to order.
