The twoste¥Spheronorm System for precision lens processing includes the threeaxis SPM 120 SL generator and SPS 120 SL polishing machine. Lens surfaces can be created with diameters from 20 to 180 mm and with a radial shape from plano to hemispherical. The SPM 120 SL can bevel and edge both upper and lower surfaces. While holding the lens in a vacuum chuck, the SPS 120 SL polisher receives instructions electronically from the SPM 120 SL generator. These machines eliminate the timeconsuming inter mediate steps of blocking, grinding, lapping, polishing, and deblocking.
