Sapphire windows

Feb. 1, 1995
Sapphire windows for highpower laser applications transmit 0.155.5µm radiation and come in diameters ranging from 5.0 to 25.0 mm. Surface quality is 8050 with a flatness of 2 waves per 25.4 mm at 632.8 nm across 90% of the aperture. Maximum parallelism is 0.025 per 25.4 mm with 0.008 birefringence for visible light orthogonal to the optical axis.
