Laser-to-fiber delivery system for UV applications consists of a single-mode fiber, a laser-to-fiber coupler, and a fiber collimator or focuser. The 2-µm-core fiber has a cut-off wavelength less than 320 nm and features high OH content for maximum UV transmission. The coupler has fused silica, UV antireflection-coated lenses for high efficiency.
