• Optical-correlator PC card

    A PCI card for IBM-PC-compatible computers contains an optical Fourier processor. The module`s laser, optics, spatial light modulator, and charge-coupled-device chi¥are all bonded in place for permanent alignment. The processor can run multiple scenes past one filter, one scene past multiple filters, or combinations of scenes and filters. Operating parameters can be independently configured. The unit`s main function is correlation with binary phase-only filters.
