Corrected video lenses
Five compact high-resolution video lenses are super-corrected for visible-wavelength transmission and near-infrared wavelengths (400-1040 nm). Suitable for low-light applications, the lenses match the spectral sensitivity of charge-coupled devices. The added correction provides the equivalent of about 1.5 f/ stops. An 8-mm f/1.4 lens views 67° with 4.7-in. minimum focus, while a 12-mm f/1.4 lens views 48° with 7.9-in. minimum focus. The 17-mm and 23-mm f/1.4 lenses cover 35° and 27° angles and focus down to 7.9 in. and 11.8 in., respectively. A 35-mm f/1.9 lens has an 18° view and a 17.8-in. minimum focus.
