Glass laser optics
Custom-fabricated laser-glass optics include lenses, flat windows, Risley prisms, and etalons. The optics feature flatness u¥to 1/20 wave, 10 arcsec or less parallelism, and surface finishes to 10/5 scratch-dig. Multi gigawatt power-level coatings, depending on wavelength and pulse duration, can be applied. Sizes range from 0.2- to 3.0-in. diameter (۪.002 in.), and materials include BK-7, fused silica, and common Schott and Corning laser-grade glasses.
