Laser measuring system

Dec. 1, 1995
The UBC 14 Precision Non-Contact Measuring System has a range of 1 mm, with an accuracy of 10 nm. Applications include measuring surface profiles, roughness, flatness, and the thickness of bearing surfaces, micromachined parts, contact lenses, paper, thick-film materials, and computer components. The capabilities of the system are expanded by eight sensor modules, including a Telefocus sensor with a 15-mm standoff. Windows-based software is included.
