    Highresolution color chargecoupleddevice (CCD) area sensors feature variable electronic shutter functions, complementary mosaic filters, and onchi¥microlenses on each individual pixel. These 1/3in.format sensors, Models ICX058AKB (NTSC 768 ¥ 494 pixels) and ICX059AKB (PAL 752 ¥ 582 pixels), are suitable for use in video phones, machine vision, PC video conferences, and objectdetection applications, where they can be used as the front end of a video camera.
