Prism polarizers

Prism polarizers in a variety of materials are available for use in laser systems or for beamsplitting in spectrometers and other optical instruments. Materials include magnesium fluoride, quartz, calcite, and glass. Prisms are manufactured to 1/20-wave quality. Prisms for use with high-power lasers are air-spaced and have damage thresholds of 300 W/cm2.
