Acton Research Corp. to fabricate filters for Hubble camera

NASA Goddard Space Flight Center has awarded Acton Research Corp. (Acton, MA) a $31,763 contract to produce filters for the Hubble Space Telescope Advanced Camera for Surveys and Solar Blind Channel. Acton will fabricate three space-qualified Lyman alpha-type optical filters centered at 122 nm and three magnesium fluoride filters centered at 120 nm; the components are slated for delivery at the end of July 1997.
