The UltraSil line of high-numerical-aperture silica-silica fibers are designed for power delivery and sensing applications for the medical, military, and industrial markets. The fiber has a numerical aperture of 0.29 and can transmit wavelengths as long as 2.1 µm. Core sizes range from 100 to 600 µm.
