Vanadate microchip laser

Feb. 1, 1996
The uIR diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser produces outputs at 1064 nm with powers up to 250 mW in a diffraction-limited beam. The microchip laser operates in a 4 ¥ 1 ¥ 1-in. laser head. Noise is less than 0.5% rms at pulse-repetition rates up to 2 MHz. The laser`s output power is stable to less than 2%.
