CVI Laser begins UK production of optical components

Optical-component and thin-films manufacturer CVI Laser (Albuquerque, NM) has moved into full production capability at its Luton, England, facility. CVI-UK will operate as an independent subsidiary under the management of Ian Devlin Hill, producing precision optics, optical components, and optical coatings for the European community. "We felt that we needed a place to get into the European market," spokesperson Mary Rutland commented on the establishment of the UK facility.
