Strategic partnership will reach wholesale optical laboratories

Denton Vacuum Inc. (Moorestown, NJ) and Pentax Vision Inc. (Minneapolis, MN) have formed a strategic partnership to provide antireflective (AR) coating equipment and technology to wholesale optical laboratories throughout the USA. Participating laboratories will now be able to purchase Denton coating equipment and license Pentax's proprietary AR-coating process to custom-coat any manufacturer's lenses. Denton chairman Peter Denton and Pentax president Lee Anderson emphasized the unique and important nature of the agreement for both companies.
