Single-mode fiber switches

Dec. 1, 1998
The SP-Series Switches are single-mode prism switches that feature typical switching speeds of 10 ms, repeatability of ۪.005 dB, and typical insertion losses of 0.6 dB. The switches are available in three configurations: an On-Off, 1 ¥ 2, or 2 ¥ 2 design. The switches use a moving prism, actuated electrically from the 5-Vdc power supply, between fixed collimators.
