All-fiber Bragg grating notch filters have use in 1018 nm applications

Feb. 10, 2024
WSF series all-fiber band-stop (notch) filters are used to selectively block a wavelength or a range of wavelengths, while allowing other wavelengths to pass through.

WSF series all-fiber band-stop (notch) filters are used to selectively block a wavelength or a range of wavelengths, while allowing other wavelengths to pass through. Using proprietary tilted FBG filter technology, they are used in 1018 nm applications, blocking the back-propagating signal from the power amplifier, increasing power and efficiency of tandem-pumped fiber lasers.
