Tube-light linescan illumination system has use in machine vision

A combined tube-light LED linescan illumination system for machine vision acquires images of the same object in three diverse illumination scenarios in a single pass.

The tube light segment of the linescan illumination system provides maximum brightness of 1,000,000 lux. The dark-field segment illuminates up to 800,000 lux at low angles, and the brightfield segment offers feature visualization at up to 12,000 cd/m2.
