A range of 405 nm blue-violet laser diodes designed for direct imaging applications is available.

A range of 405 nm blue-violet laser diodes designed for direct imaging applications includes the HL40071MG single transverse mode 405 nm laser diode, which offers 300 mW of optical output power. Other models include the HL40063MG and the HL40065MG multimode diodes, which have TE mode oscillation, 405 nm wavelength, and an optical power of 600 mW.
