Laser Quantum to showcase femtosecond oscillator at SPIE BiOS and Photonics West 2019

Jan. 16, 2019
The helixx femtosecond oscillator with 250 MHz repetition rate has utility in life science applications.

The helixxfemtosecond oscillator with 250 MHz repetition rate has utility in life science applications. The system is tunable between 720 and 920 nm to meet user requirements and delivers an average output power of >2.3 W in short pulse durations of ~50 fs. The laser head incorporates a Ti:sapphire oscillator and pump laser, and its field-replaceable pump diodes are contained within the full-feature control unit to minimize thermal load.
