Lumencor to showcase light engine at SPIE Photonics West 2019

Jan. 21, 2019
The CELESTA light engine incorporates seven independent solid-state lasers with advanced electronic control.

The CELESTA light engine incorporates seven independent solid-state lasers with advanced electronic control for use in spinning disk confocal microscopy, photoablation, optogenetics, and other demanding applications. Approximately 1 W of optical power from each laser is delivered from the distal end of an optical fiber. Output stability is actively governed by the light engine's onboard computer.
