Trestles Opus is a Ti:sapphire oscillator from Del Mar Photonics that produces laser pulses with a duration from 50 to 100 fs at an average power up to 400 mW at 800nm. Its spectrally limited (also called transform-limited) 100 fs pulses have minimal broadening in multiphoton microscope systems, making additional dispersion-management pulse chirping apparatus unnecessary.
