Spectra-Physics intros Q-switched DPSS laser for micromachining applications
March 19, 2014

The Talon 355-15 Q-switched diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser delivers >15 W of UV power, >300 µJ of pulse energy, and a 0–500 kHz repetition-rate range in micromachining applications for PCBs, semiconductors, LEDs, ceramics, flat-panel displays, solar cells, and glass. The laser is based on the company's It's in the Box design, which combines the power supply and laser head into one package for system integration and interchangeability to meet specific requirements. >15, >12, and >6 W UV and >20 W green versions are available.
