June 30, 2008--The LED Roadmapping Conference on October 30, 2008 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, will present industry and technology roadmaps and trends to look for in the future of the light-emitting-diode industry.

June 30, 2008--The LED Roadmapping Conference on October 30, 2008 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, will present industry and technology roadmaps and trends to look for in the future of the light-emitting-diode (LED) industry. The conference, to be held at the Hotel Van de Valk in Eindhoven, will look at the future LED manufacturing.

The LED Roadmapping Conference is a special winter market-focused edition of the annual International LED Event and Expo last held in February 2008 that features state-of-the-art LED developments. The October LED Conference will focus on business and technology roadmaps from the main global LED manufacturers. A special focus of the LED Roadmap Conference will be next-generation high-power LEDs, revolutionary future market opportunities, and technology developments.

The October 30 event will focus on the successful developments in general lighting, (white lights), automotive and other end user markets, indoor lighting, public lighting, small LEDs (semiconductors), and organic LEDs (OLEDs). Invited speakers will hail from Osram, Philips Lumileds, Seoul Semiconductors, Nichia, Cree, Tridonic.Atco, Citizen, University of California Santa Barbara, Fraunhofer Institute, and Novaled, among others.
