PRESS RELEASE

New Osram IR Chip LEDs provide high output for low profile touch displays

Sunnyvale, CA, July 20, 2011 -- The ChipLED SFH 4053 is a new family of miniature infrared ChipLEDs from Osram Opto Semiconductors that provide high output for super low-profile optical touch screens. Ideal for small and medium size touch displays, the new ChipLED SFH 4053 measures just 0.5 x 1 mm, so it takes up exceptionally little space. Combined with a height of 0.45 mm in industry standard 0402 (length/width), it is one of the smallest IREDs on the market.
