Industrial Microphotonics Company (IMC, St. Charles, MO), a division of Cutting Edge Optronics, Inc. (CEO), now offers replacement diode arrays that are compatible with models discontinued by other manufacturers.

“Owners of diode-pumped lasers that have been working well for the past several years are looking to replace diode arrays that have finally worn out,” says Ted Konopelski, IMC director. “Since the manufacturers of many of these arrays no longer offer these products, we have been providing limited quantities of cost-effective replacement arrays for the past year. Now we are in a position to offer an even broader spectrum of arrays.”

To help engineers in locating replacement arrays, IMC has joined www.GlobalSpec.com, a Web site that allows users to search for components using technical component attributes and parameters.

CEO is a wholly owned subsidiary of TRW. With the transfer of TRW Laser Produced Plasma (LLP) Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) laser activities. Current product offerings now range from 1-W semiconductor lasers to multi-kilowatt diode-pumped solid-state lasers.
