Positive Light has opened a new sales office in Spartanburg, SC, in addition to its corporate office in Los Gatos, CA. The creation of this additional office corresponds to the increasing business in Eastern North America. Edward M. Shapiro, a twenty-year veteran of the laser industry, has been appointed to manage the sales activities of the new office.

"The new office in South Carolina aims to provide a faster response to customers and prospects who reside in the East. With this new office, our corporate office in California and our nine international distributors, we can deliver superior service to all our customers", says Jeremy Weston, president of Positive Light.

Founded in 1991, Positive Light designs and manufactures solid-state laser systems for scientific and industrial applications. Products include: all solid-state amplifier systems, deep UV laser systems for metrology, pulsed Nd:YLF lasers, terawatt lasers, ultrafast laser diagnostics, and custom laser systems. The privately held company has delivered over 800 laser systems and received numerous patents for laser technology. Positive Light is based in Los Gatos, CA with an eastern sales office and nine international distributors.
