Crystal IS UVC LED with flat window packaging has use in instrumentation applications

Optan deep-UV LEDs come in a TO-39 package with a flat window, and are based on proprietary, native aluminum nitride (AlN) substrates. The flat window packaging does not focus the light from the chip, so users have full control over the optical path. The lattice-matched commercial UVC LEDs provide improved flexibility in instrumentation applications.
