    The Optan SMD surface-mount device product line for instrumentation has added higher light output at wavelengths from 250 to 280 nm and wavelength-specific bins (SKUs). Applications include fluorescence spectroscopy, imaging, and biofouling control. The UVC LED uses lattice-matched native aluminum nitride (AlN) substrates.
