SCHOTT LED light sources feature aspherical lenses

A series of LED cold light sources for stereomicroscopes is built with aspherical lenses. The LEDs are fitted with a cover lens made of optical glass with aspheres to couple the light into a fiber-optic light guide efficiently, improving homogeneity and intensity of the light to provide better views of samples.
