Santa Barbara, CA, April 5, 2002 -- Agility Communications, Inc., a maker of widely tunable lasers for metro, switching, and long-haul markets, announced today that its widely tunable laser technology architecture has met and exceeded reliability assurance requirements in accordance with the intent of Telcordia Technologies GR-468-CORE.

Agility included testing specifications relating to tunability that, although not incorporated in GR-468-CORE, are designed to be implemented along side GR-468-CORE. Agility is the first and only widely tunable laser company to announce that it has met this important and stringent standard.
