The Laser Focus World take:
Since BMW first announced its plans for laser headlights on cars, we've been watching and waiting. A beautiful version of the BMW i8 with laser headlights was on display at LASER World of Photonics, in Munich, back in June.
Now we have the BMW K 1600 GTL concept motorcycle with a laser headlight, on display at the North American Auto Show, held January 11-24, in Detroit. An added bonus is the head up display helmet. The display projects vehicle information like tire pressure, engine speed and vehicle speed into the field of view, as well as traffic and hazard information.
