Single-photon counting

May 1, 1995
A single 386/486 PC board contains the SPC-300 system for time-correlated single-photon counting. The module works with modelocked CW lasers, semiconductor lasers, or ns flashlamps. With an MC¥photomultiplier, time resolution is 40 ps. The maximum count rate is more than 106 photons per second. U¥to 128 channels can be recorded for time- and space-resolved measurements.
