The Epolite 84-VIS dye offers protection from ruby and diode lasers emitting light from 670 to 725 nm. The dye offers high thermal stability and is soluble in organic polymers. Dye-doped polycarbonate lenses and windows can provide laser protective gear. The company offers the dye as either a powder or a doped-polycarbonate ready for molding.
