Pulsed diode laser

Oct. 1, 1995
The DL-404 picosecond diode laser offers 40-ps full-width-at-half-maximum pulses at wavelengths from 635 to 840 nm. Peak powers range u¥to 500 mW, and repetition rates can be set from single shot to 80 MHz. Both fiber-coupled and separate laser head models are available. Applications of the laser include time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy, medical illumination, testing time responses of optoelectronic devices, optical tomography, and optical distance measurements.
