    An external-cavity 1550-nm semiconductor laser offers a tuning range of more than 80 nm with ۪.1-nm resolution and ۪.2-nm accuracy. The TSL-200 also offers a coherence-control function that can reduce the frequency bandwidth to 5 MH¥and an option that reduces the linewidth to 20 MHz. The 1-mW diode has a power drift of less than 0.05 dB per half-hour and operates from 10°C to 40°C.
