High-power diode laser

Sept. 1, 1995
The OPC-B030-FCPS high-power diode-laser module is designed for direct thermal applications. The integrated 30-W fiber-coupled laser unit emits 830-nm near-IR energy into a 1.5-mm optical fiber bundle. Options can reduce the diameter of the beam for injection into multimode fibers as small as 400 µm. The 11 ¥ 7 ¥ 8-in. module has active thermoelectric cooling and a transient-protected power supply.
