Ti:sapphire regenerative amplifier
A 50-kH¥chirped-pulse Ti:sapphire regenerative-amplifier system extends the energy and pulse-repetition-rate ranges of the company`s Tsunami mode locked Ti:sapphire laser. The Spitfire 50-kH¥regenerative amplifier is pumped by an intracavity-doubled Nd:YLF laser using a noncritically phase-matched LBO crystal. Amplified pulses at 790 nm were faster than 130 fs and had energies of 10 µJ at a 50-kH¥repetition rate.
