Picosecond diode-laser series PDL 800 has u¥to 80-MH¥repetition rate and is designed as a short-pulse excitation source for fluorescence lifetime measurements. The laser consists of a controlling generator box and separate laser heads, which can be chosen with wavelengths ranging from 635 to 910 nm and offer pulse durations of shorter than 70 ps.
