Machine-vision LEDs
Lighting sources for machine-vision applications using LEDs include ringlights, line generators, front and back lights, and infrared line generators. The monochromatic red LEDs result in less camera-lens aberration for sharper images. Uniformity of light output from flash to flash gives 30% greater measurement repeatability than with conventional lighting sources.
