Visible diode laser

Dec. 1, 1996
A 633-nm external-cavity diode laser is available with a narrow linewidth and a tuning range of 10 nm. The laser also can be modulated at rates of more than 100 MHz. Applications of the laser include spectroscopy, frequency reference, and interferometry. The device is intended as a replacement for single-line HeNe lasers.
