A CW 155-µm DFB laser module is designed for supertrunking and cable-TV applications. The strained-layer multiple-quantum-well laser module emits 50 mW of power through a polarization-maintaining fiber pigtail. The output can be modulated using a lithium niobate external modulator. The module is part of the company`s 1905 LM¥family of products.
