The Model 1790 1550 nm high-power laser module for lidar and optical sensing is used as a continuous-wave coherent optical source.

The Model 1790 1550 nm high-power laser module for lidar and optical sensing is used as a continuous-wave coherent optical source for next-generation frequency modulation continuous wavelength (FMCW) lidar systems, such as in autonomous vehicles. It provides optical output power of 18 dBm, no mode or optical frequency hopping, and a built-in thermoelectric cooler, thermistor, and monitor photodiode.
