LASYS laser material processing trade fair is postponed until 2022

March 19, 2020
Due to the increasing prevalence of the new Coronavirus, the LASYS trade fair will take place June 21-23, 2022.

Messe Stuttgart (Stuttgart, Germany) is postponing the LASYS trade fair, which was originally scheduled to take place June 16-18, 2020, due to the increasing prevalence of the new Coronavirus and the enactment of the related legal ordinance on infection protection measures (Corona Ordinance) by the Baden-Württemberg State Government in Germany. By agreement with the event partners and the LASYS Trade Fair Advisory Committee, the trade fair will now be held June 21-23, 2022.

The LASYS international trade fair, which has been held biennially since 2008, focuses on system solutions for laser material processing. The event covers all industries and materials, and is primarily aimed at decision-makers from international industry.

Messe Stuttgart is planning to offer exhibitors, project partners, and visitors alternative formats to bridge the waiting time up to the next LASYS trade fair date in 2022. It plans to launch two new "LASYS meets" events on laser material processing in and for medical technology and laser system solutions and applications for tool, pattern, and mold making during the T4M – Technology for Medical Devices trade fair (May 4-6, 2021) and the Moulding Expo trade fair (June 8-11, 2021), respectively.
