In October 2017, ES Precision (Kingston Bagpuize, England) opened to offer laser processing and traditional low-volume/prototype machining to several industries, including medical device, Formula 1, aerospace, electronics, and general engineering. Now, the company employs seven staff to run jobs on its eight laser workstations and three CNC machining centers.
The company's lasers include a fiber laser marker for laser engraving and etching metals; end-pumped vanadate laser engravers for laser marking most metals, ceramics, and plastics; a UV vanadate marker for color-change laser etching of tough-to-mark plastics; 90 W high-power multimode YAG laser markers; a 200 W CO2 galvo-delivered laser source that can drill and cut organic materials at very high speed; and a 30 W CO2 laser with automatic reel-to-reel feeding for laser etching and cutting custom labels.
The company also offers the tool room and experienced operators for low-volume milling and turning, aimed at prototype and small batch production.
